Four reasons to get saved now!

1) You may not be alive to call on Him tomorrow.

     James 4:14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

 

2) You may not be able to call on Him tomorrow.

    Proverbs 27:1  Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

 

3) You may not be answered if you call on Him tomorrow.

    Proverbs 1:24-28  Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

4) You may not be allowed to call on Him tomorrow.

     2 Thessalonians 2:11-12  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

     1 Thessalonians 4:16-17  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

What if you don’t get saved?

    Revelation 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Four Things you must know to be saved.

1) Realize that you are a sinner…

    Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    Romans 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

2) Recognize that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for your sins… The Gospel

    1 Corinthians 15:3-4  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

3) Repent  of your sins…

     Luke 13:3  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4) Receive the Gift of Eternal Life…

     John 1:12-13  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

 

What must I do to be saved?

    Acts 16:30-31  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
