Calvary Baptist Winchester’s bus ministry is designed to provide transportation to children, teens, and adults who would not otherwise be able to come to church.
The Bus is a safe and fun way to get to church for everyone. So come on, sign up, catch the bus, and start enjoying “Church, the Way it Should Be”.
Who can ride the bus?
We believe every person should have a way to Church, so there is an Adult only bus and a bus for Children only. Children grade 1 and up may ride the bus unaccompanied, children below grade 1 may ride only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We currently do not have handicap accessible transportation.
When does the bus run?
The bus begins pick up Sunday morning at 8:30 AM and has every rider at church by 9:45 AM and in their Sunday School rooms ready for class. The bus leaves directly after Church services and all riders are home by 1:30 PM.
Where does the bus pick up?
We pick up at individual houses and apartments within a 10 mile radius of the Church building which includes metropolitan Winchester, Decherd, and Cowan.
